Complete renovation created four unique apartments

The Belmont Guesthouse was an early chance for Stinson to tackle a complete renovation of four apartments in a historic building. Converted into apartments somewhere in the 1930’s or 40’s, this old home hadn’t been touched since. It was a perfect opportunity for Stinson to maintain many of the original details, add some that had been eliminated, and accomplish a true historic renovation.

Elements of the charming Belmont neighborhood’s past inspire the décor in each of the apartments. Showcasing the history of old buildings in this “Ode to Belmont,” most of the original details were maintained and salvaged. The home is particularly special to Stinson, as it was an opportunity to collaborate with his entire family, and each member had a strong part in shaping its design.
